I think forgiveness is best done by remembering those who suffered and by correcting the mistakes of the past so that they never happen again. As Sadako Masahiro (‘paper cranes’) said, omoiyari is the surest to world peace.In the case of Hiroshima/Nagasaki, I’m afraid we’re still a long way from doing that.

I went to his website. I like what he had to say. I could never understand why people have wars. Nothing is ever gained by killing people and blowing things up.
