I am honored to be receiving the Puaka’ana o ka La (Rise Up!) award from the Sunrise Ministry Foundation and delivering the keynote address at their Journeys to Wellness seminar next month. The event, which will have workshops on wellness, is open to the public (there is a discount if you pre-register or are a student or active military); I hope I will see some of you there.

Elva, you and your husband are my role models on how to live with kindness and goodness and to ignore those numbers that accumulate on our dates of birth. Thank you.
